BIS RWA WORKSHOP

*RWA Workshop on Consumer Awareness Organized by Ashiana Palm Court Society*   The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) in Ghaziabad recently held an enlightening workshop aimed at empowering consumers, hosted by the Resident Welfare Association (RWA) of Ashiana Palm Court Society. "Hamare Buzurg Hamara Abhiman"

  Under the aegis of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, the Community Radio Association has developed a program based on the Atal Vayo Abhyuday Yojana titled "Hamare Buzurg Hamara Abhiman" (Our Elders, Our Pride). Noida's first community radio station, Salaam Namaste, is the state monitoring radio station for this campaign, which involves 30 community radio stations across Uttar Pradesh. More than 100 senior citizens will be involved in this campaign, and young people will also be given opportunities. Salaam Namaste has already started the baseline survey for this. The first episode will be broadcast on 19th November 2024 on the topic: Senior Citizen Helpline. BIS Workshop

 Salaam Namaste Radio actively participates in outreach programs to spread awareness on crucial topics. On 6 October 2024, the team of Salaam Namaste went to Ashiana Upvan, Indrapuram to attend Consumer Awareness Workshop by Bureau of Indian Standards (Under Ministry of Consumer Affairs).
