"Hamare Buzurg Hamara Abhiman"

 Under the aegis of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, the Community Radio Association has developed a program based on the Atal Vayo Abhyuday Yojana titled "Hamare Buzurg Hamara Abhiman" (Our Elders, Our Pride).

Noida's first community radio station, Salaam Namaste, is the state monitoring radio station for this campaign, which involves 30 community radio stations across Uttar Pradesh.

More than 100 senior citizens will be involved in this campaign, and young people will also be given opportunities. Salaam Namaste has already started the baseline survey for this.

The first episode will be broadcast on 19th November 2024 on the topic: Senior Citizen Helpline.There are two main characters in the campaign:

Bharat Dada (a senior citizen aged 60-65 years)

Laxmi (his young granddaughter)

The campaign will focus on the following topics:

  1. Integrated Programme for Senior Citizens (IPSRC)
  2. National Helpline for Senior Citizens 14567
  3. Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana (RVY)
  4. Cataract Surgery

Officials will be involved in the campaign: In addition to the Social Welfare Officer, other district officials like the CMO and DPO will be included.Barsha Chabari Station HeadSalaam Namaste Community Radio

Lok Kala Sanskriti Mahakumbh

  Sangeetika Academy of Performing Arts, Delhi in collaboration with Van Kanya Arts and Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam  Trust is doing Bhartiya Kala Sanskriti Mahakumbh at Gandhi Darshan, Rajghat, Delhi during 12-16 November 2026. This event is being organised in memory of renowned Kathak Guru Jitendra Maharaj ji by his disciples primarily by Padma Shri awardee Kathak dancers Nalini Kamalini. This event aims to bring forward the artistic and cultural fabric of India in its full glory. The event will have performances by classical dancers as well as folk dancers. Swachh survekshan

      Swachh Survekshan is an annual survey of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation in cities and towns across India, initiated by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MOHUA) as part of the Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM). The survey aims to encourage cities to improve their service delivery to promote cleanliness, waste management, and overall sanitation. In the Swachh Survekshan 2023 rankings, Noida was recognized as the cleanest city in Uttar Pradesh, achieving the 14th position nationally among cities with a population over 1 lakh.
