Manak Talkies celebrated with BIS Noida


The Bureau of Indian Standards(Noida branch) organised a special Podcast with Harshit Kumar Jain(Deputy Director,BIS Noida) at Salaam Namaste Community Radio (IMS Noida)with Barsha Chabaria(Salaam Namaste Community Radio,IMS Noida)


Manak Mahotsav is a celebration organized by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) to commemorate the World Standards Day 2025.This year the theme is "A Shared Vision for a Better World: Spotlight on SDG 17- Partnerships for the Goals". This theme highlights the importance of standards in achieving the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 17, which focuses on partnerships for the goals.



The eminent guest Harshit kumar Jain shared that each year,the celebration of World Standards Day,aims to raise awareness about the significance of standardization, certification, and consumer safety in ensuring industrial growth, safety, and consumer trust.This year, BIS Noida celebrated Manak Mahotsav with various activities, including walkathons, awareness programs, and stakeholder meetings, to promote the importance of standards in everyday life,sharing knowledge about BIS Care App etc.



A special initiative of the launch of "Manak Vaani" Podcast Series was a part of Manak Mahotsav'25.

Deputy Director, BIS Noida,Harshit Kumar Jain jee shared that in days ahead, BIS Noida shall be working more actively with the youth with a vision of Consumer Empowerment.



Wishing everyone a very Happy Diwali,the Podcast session wished everyone Safe and secured Festivals this year.

Lok Kala Sanskriti Mahakumbh

  Sangeetika Academy of Performing Arts, Delhi in collaboration with Van Kanya Arts and Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam  Trust is doing Bhartiya Kala Sanskriti Mahakumbh at Gandhi Darshan, Rajghat, Delhi during 12-16 November 2026. This event is being organised in memory of renowned Kathak Guru Jitendra Maharaj ji by his disciples primarily by Padma Shri awardee Kathak dancers Nalini Kamalini. This event aims to bring forward the artistic and cultural fabric of India in its full glory. The event will have performances by classical dancers as well as folk dancers.       Swachh Survekshan is an annual survey of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation in cities and towns across India, initiated by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MOHUA) as part of the Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM). The survey aims to encourage cities to improve their service delivery to promote cleanliness, waste management, and overall sanitation. In the Swachh Survekshan 2023 rankings, Noida was recognized as the cleanest city in Uttar Pradesh, achieving the 14th position nationally among cities with a population over 1 lakh.
