* OBJECTIVES OF ROAD SAFETY 

1. Reduction of Traffic Fatalities and Injuries: Aim to significantly lower the number of deaths and injuries caused by road traffic accidents through effective measures.

2. Education and Awareness: Raise public awareness about the importance of road safety through campaigns, workshops, and seminars. Educating drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists on safe practices is vital.

3. Traffic Law Enforcement: Strengthen law enforcement to ensure compliance with traffic regulations, including speed limits, seatbelt use, and DUI laws.

*BRIEF DISCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITY 

1. Awareness Campaigns: Public qinformation campaigns create awareness about the importance of road safety, targeting issues like seatbelt use, texting while driving, and driving under the influence.

2. Pleadge:- A pleadge has been taken by the students of IMS Noida to encourage the safety of passengers while driving 

3. Podcast:- A podcast is organised by salaam namaste radio station for the winners of road safety activities 
4. Poster :- A poster making competition is organised in the campus of IMS Noida and various students took part and contributed for the awareness of the program 

*OUTCOMES OF THE ACTIVITY

1. Reduction in Traffic Accidents: A primary outcome is the decrease in the number of road traffic accidents, leading to fewer injuries and fatalities.

2. Increased Awareness: Enhanced understanding of road safety rules and the responsibilities of all road users among drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists.

3. Behavioral Change: Positive shifts in driving behavior, such as increased seatbelt use, reduced speeding, and greater adherence to traffic signals and laws.

4. Improved Community Engagement: Greater involvement of communities in road safety initiatives, fostering a collective responsibility towards safer roads.

5. Enhanced Infrastructure Safety: Improvements in road infrastructure, including better signage, lighting, and dedicated lanes for pedestrians and cyclists, contributing to safer road environments.
  
#CONCLUSION
Road safety is vital for protecting lives and preventing accidents. Adhering to traffic rules, using safety gear, and raising awareness are essential steps to ensure a safer driving environment for everyone.

Lok Kala Sanskriti Mahakumbh

  Sangeetika Academy of Performing Arts, Delhi in collaboration with Van Kanya Arts and Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam  Trust is doing Bhartiya Kala Sanskriti Mahakumbh at Gandhi Darshan, Rajghat, Delhi during 12-16 November 2026. This event is being organised in memory of renowned Kathak Guru Jitendra Maharaj ji by his disciples primarily by Padma Shri awardee Kathak dancers Nalini Kamalini. This event aims to bring forward the artistic and cultural fabric of India in its full glory. The event will have performances by classical dancers as well as folk dancers.       Swachh Survekshan is an annual survey of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation in cities and towns across India, initiated by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MOHUA) as part of the Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM). The survey aims to encourage cities to improve their service delivery to promote cleanliness, waste management, and overall sanitation. In the Swachh Survekshan 2023 rankings, Noida was recognized as the cleanest city in Uttar Pradesh, achieving the 14th position nationally among cities with a population over 1 lakh.
