Creative Pot Making Challenge

* Objective of "CREATIVE POT MAKING CHALLENGE "

To promote Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through eco-friendly creativity by encouraging the use of waste or natural materials in pot making, fostering environmental cleanliness, reducing plastic use, and spreading awareness about sustainability and responsible consumption.


* BREIF DESCRIPTION ABOUT THE ACTIVITY 

This vibrant exhibition displayed innovative handmade pots created from waste and eco-friendly materials, promoting sustainability and creativity aligned with SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption & Production) and SDG 13 (Climate Action).


Pot Descriptions :

1. Yellow-Rimmed Rope Pot
Made using jute rope and old cloth, symbolizing reuse of household waste with artistic flair.


2. Festive Terracotta Pot
A traditional earthen pot hand-painted with tribal motifs and buntings, representing cultural heritage and eco-awareness.


3. Blue Smiley Pot
Created from a reused plastic container, painted cheerfully and used as a planter—highlighting joy in upcycling.


4. Green Thread Vase
Decorated with green thread and beads, it promotes elegance using discarded materials.


5. Pink Cup Planter
Formed from old crockery and painted vibrantly, symbolizing creative reuse and environmental love.

  * OUTCOME OF PROGRAM 
1. ✅ Promoted Environmental Awareness – Encouraged participants to reuse waste materials creatively, supporting eco-friendly practices.


2. 🎨 Enhanced Creativity & Innovation – Students showcased unique ideas, blending art with sustainability.


3. 🌱 Spread Message of Green Living – Reinforced the importance of plants, cleanliness, and responsible consumption.


4. ♻️ Waste Management Awareness – Highlighted how discarded items can be transformed into useful decorative items
