CELEBRATING 5 YEARS OF NEP

Objective:

To highlight and celebrate the achievements of the National Education Policy (NEP) in its first five years, focusing on how it has successfully merged India’s educational reforms with its rich cultural heritage, fostering holistic learning, preserving traditions, and preparing students for a globally competitive yet culturally rooted future.

Brief Description of the Activity:

As part of the celebration of 5 Years of the National Education Policy (NEP), a cultural art activity was organized at the school to highlight the integration of education and Indian heritage. Students enthusiastically participated by creating vibrant artworks depicting various aspects of Indian culture, including traditional attire, folk art, historical monuments, and classical motifs. This activity aimed to promote creativity, preserve cultural values, and encourage students to take pride in India’s rich artistic traditions while aligning with NEP’s vision of holistic and culturally rooted education.

Outcome of the Activity:

The program successfully enhanced students’ awareness and appreciation of India’s rich cultural heritage. It fostered creativity, artistic skills, and self-expression while strengthening their connection to traditional art forms. Students developed a sense of pride in their cultural identity and understood the importance of preserving it. The activity also promoted teamwork, confidence, and alignment with NEP’s vision of integrating cultural learning into education.
