*TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan:*

Empowering Students to Fight Tuberculosis

On December 20, 2024, Sudarshanam Bal Vidyalaya, Vasundhara, in collaboration with Salaam Namaste CRS, successfully organized the 100 Days TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. This initiative aimed to educate students about tuberculosis (TB), its symptoms, and the importance of seeking treatment.


The event began with an informative session, where students learned that TB is not communicable and can be treated with proper medication. This awareness session helped dispel common misconceptions surrounding the disease. The students were engaged and curious, asking thoughtful questions to clarify their understanding.


 *Inculcating creativity and Acknowledgment:* 



Inspired by the knowledge they gained, the students then created and recited powerful slogans, such as "TB Haarega, Desh Jitega" (TB will lose, India will win). Their enthusiasm and creativity were evident in their participation. The slogans not only showcased their understanding of the issue but also demonstrated their commitment to spreading awareness.


To encourage and appreciate their efforts, all participants received certificates.


 The event culminated in a rally, where students marched through the nearby area, spreading awareness about TB and the importance of combating it. The rally was a vibrant display of energy and dedication, with students chanting slogans and holding banners.



 *Conclusion*


The 100 Days TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan at Sudarshanam Bal Vidyalaya, Vasundhara, was a resounding success, empowering students to become ambassadors in the fight against tuberculosis. By educating and mobilizing the younger generation, we can create a brighter, healthier future for all.


This initiative is a testament to the power of collective action and community engagement. It demonstrates that even small actions can contribute to significant positive change. As we move forward, it is essential that we continue to support and amplify such efforts, ensuring that the message of TB awareness and prevention reaches every corner of our society.

  Sangeetika Academy of Performing Arts, Delhi in collaboration with Van Kanya Arts and Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam  Trust is doing Bhartiya Kala Sanskriti Mahakumbh at Gandhi Darshan, Rajghat, Delhi during 12-16 November 2026. This event is being organised in memory of renowned Kathak Guru Jitendra Maharaj ji by his disciples primarily by Padma Shri awardee Kathak dancers Nalini Kamalini. This event aims to bring forward the artistic and cultural fabric of India in its full glory. The event will have performances by classical dancers as well as folk dancers.       Swachh Survekshan is an annual survey of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation in cities and towns across India, initiated by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MOHUA) as part of the Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM).
