RWA Workshop at Gulmohar Gardens
*RWA Sensitization Program: A Step Towards Awareness and Community Engagement*
On 19th January 2025, the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) conducted a remarkable RWA Sensitization Program at Gulmohar Gardens, RajNagar. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the Apartment Owners Association (AOA) members, including the Joint Secretary and Treasurer, who contributed significantly to its success.
The program commenced on an engaging note with Mrs. Barsha Chhabaria narrating a captivating story that beautifully underscored the values and significance of Indian Standards in our everyday lives. Her storytelling set the tone for the day, fostering a sense of curiosity and responsibility among the audience.
*Guest of Honor*
The guest of honor, Mr. Priyanshu Arya Jee, a Standard Promotion Consultant at BIS Ghaziabad, conducted an insightful session highlighting the importance of Indian Standards. He elaborated on the contributions and initiatives of BIS, emphasizing their impact on ensuring quality and safety in various sectors. Additionally, he introduced the audience to the features of the BIS Care App, which serves as a valuable tool for consumers to verify standard-compliant products and raise grievances.
*Glimpses of Event*
A special highlight of the event was the felicitation of students from various schools for their outstanding contributions during the Manak Carnival held on 11th January 2025:
* JKG International School students were lauded for their exemplary stall showcasing innovation and adherence to Indian Standards.
* K R Mangalam School, Vaishali, was recognized as the First Runner Up for their exceptional Rock Band performance that captivated the audience.
* St. Teresa School students were appreciated for their enthusiastic participation in the Manak Yuwa Icon Campaign.
*Conclusion*
The program concluded on a high note with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Abhishek Pandey, the President of the Society. He expressed his gratitude to all attendees and acknowledged the efforts of BIS in spreading awareness about Indian Standards.
The event ended with a group photograph, capturing the spirit of collaboration and community engagement. The presence of Mrs. Poonam Aggrawal, Head of BIS Ghaziabad, added further prestige to this meaningful initiative, leaving the participants inspired to uphold and promote the values of Indian Standards.
