In our daily lives, we often overlook the importance of standards in ensuring our safety and well-being. From switchboards to kitchen appliances, standards play a vital role in making our lives easier and safer. Manak Vaani delves into these aspects, showcasing how standards are the silent heroes of our daily lives.


 *Focus on Startups, Entrepreneurship, and Women's Empowerment* 


The podcast series places a special emphasis on startups and entrepreneurship, providing valuable insights into the world of standards and their significance in the business ecosystem. Additionally, Manak Vaani recognizes the critical role women play in ensuring the safety and well-being of their families. The podcast aims to empower women by creating awareness about the importance of using ISI-marked products, particularly when it comes to electric appliances, cylinders, and kitchen appliances.


 *BIS Care App: Verifying Genuine Products and Addressing Grievances* 


To further enhance the consumer experience, BIS has developed the BIS Care app. This user-friendly app enables consumers to verify the authenticity of products, file grievances, and access solutions to their issues.


 *Spreading Awareness through BIS Clubs and Manak Yuwa Icon Campaign* 


The BIS Ghaziabad branch covers nine districts, with BIS clubs established in various societies and schools to promote awareness about standards. The recent Manak Yuwa Icon Campaign is a unique initiative that empowers youth to become torchbearers of awareness about standards, leveraging creativity through various mediums like Manak Natika, Manak Art, Manak Kavita, Manak Geet, and Manak Katha.

  Sangeetika Academy of Performing Arts, Delhi in collaboration with Van Kanya Arts and Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam  Trust is doing Bhartiya Kala Sanskriti Mahakumbh at Gandhi Darshan, Rajghat, Delhi during 12-16 November 2026. This event is being organised in memory of renowned Kathak Guru Jitendra Maharaj ji by his disciples primarily by Padma Shri awardee Kathak dancers Nalini Kamalini. This event aims to bring forward the artistic and cultural fabric of India in its full glory. The event will have performances by classical dancers as well as folk dancers.       Swachh Survekshan is an annual survey of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation in cities and towns across India, initiated by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MOHUA) as part of the Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM). The survey aims to encourage cities to improve their service delivery to promote cleanliness, waste management, and overall sanitation. In the Swachh Survekshan 2023 rankings, Noida was recognized as the cleanest city in Uttar Pradesh, achieving the 14th position nationally among cities with a population over 1 lakh. The Noida Authority, officially known as the New Okhla Industrial Development Authority, is a governing body responsible for the planning, development, and management of Noida, The team from GFS (Garbage Free Samiti) was invited over the Salaam Namaste Community Radio to share their insights.
